£ 10 per year . Three applications had been received for annuities , four for educational grants , and one for relief , nnd the committee made certain recommendations on the voting papers . Since the last , animal meeting the capital account has increased £ 181 17 s lid , and there is an
increase of £ 14 lis 0 d in the annual subscriptions . From the commencement of tho fund ia 1864 tho receipts amounted to £ 9 , 009 lis 6 d , and the payments madohave been to male annuitants £ 1 . 774 9 s Gel , female annuitants £ 513 10 s , grants for relief ± ' 70 , educational grants £ 1 , 020 ,
and expenses of management £ 382 6 s 9 d , total £ 3 , 760 6 s 3 d , leaving as balance £ 5 , 249 5 s 3 d . The committee have considered the cases of tho various applicants , and after providing for the existing annuities and grants , they determined that £ 60 be devoted to annuities , £ 60 to
educational grants , and £ 10 to relief . In accordance with the recommendation of the committee the sum of £ 20 each was voted to a distressed brother of 1529 , the widow" of a deceased brother of 589 , and the widow of a deceased brother of 1136 . Educational grants of £ 15 per voar each
wore made to the son of a deceased brother of 331 for five years , the daughter of a deceased brother of 334 and 121 for four years , the daughter of a deoasod brother of 1151 for four years , and the daughter of a deceased brother of 856 for five years . £ 10 was also voted to relieve a

1528 . The first named had also been granted £ 20 by the Board of Benevolence , and tho application iu the second case had not been renewed . The Committee now recommended the following grants : — £ 10 to the widow of a brother , late 1785 , and £ 10 to a distressed brother formerly

largest number of six . Seeing several of onr principal Lodges show little or no interest in our charity work , it is very gratifying to have to report sach activity and zeal by a Lodge almost the youngest in the Province . By tho ballot and by completed payments the total sum of 225
guineas was allotted to members , and by their direction this sum was distributed as follows : —Royal Masonic Institution for Boys , 195 guineas ; Institution for Girls , 15 guineas ; Benevolent Institution , 15 guiueas .
