John ) , the Brethren met at their Lodge-room at high noon , for the inauguration of officers for the ensuing year , when the following were duly In stalled : —Bros . Thos . Trousdell , W . M ., Wm . Phayer , S . W . ; W . L . Joynt , J . W . ; John Goggin , Sec . ; Eev . Thos . Elmes , Chap . ; H . Sterling , Treas . On Monday evening the Brethren celebrated the festival by a grand banquet at their rooms , Cecil-street , which was
provided by Mr . John Goggin in a style of elegance and comfort that called forth the highest encomiums . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts having been duly honoured , the P . M . ' s Jewel was presented unanimously by the Lodge to Bro . George William Pragnell , for his zealous and paternal conduct as W . M . The Brethren , thirty in number , after having enjoyed a most agreeable and convivial evening , separated , in peace , love , and harmony .
