MASONIC MEMS . A new Lodge of Instruction has been opened at Bro . Bailey ' s , Manor House Tavern , ^ estbpurne-terrace ) Paddington . It is held on Sunday evenings , from April to September , at seven o ' clock . ¦ v A Provincial Grand Lodge for West Yorkshire is to be held on Saturday next ; at the Swan Hotel , Bobcross , Saddleworth , prior to proceeding to lay the foundation stone of anew Mechanics'Institution at IJp ^
The Crystal Palace Lodge , No . 10 i 4 , is to he consecrated at t ^ Sydenham / to-morrow . There are already six candidates for initiation and eleven for joining— a sufficient nucleus for a very strong Lodge . A special Geand Lodge is to be held on the loth inst ., to complete the business which the lateness of the hour prevented being taken into consideration on Wednesday last .
ROYAL FREEMASONS' SCHOOL FOR FEMALE CHILDREN . The Special Court summoned for the purpose was held at the office , 16 a , Great Queen-street , on Thursday , 3 rd instant , to consider the report on the subject of education . Bro . B . B . Cabbell , V . P ., was in the chair ; and there were present— - Bros , Barnes , Barrett , Nutt , Archer , Wariiner , Lee Stevens , Symonds , Rev . W . H . Lyall , Natusch , Binckes , Young , J . Udall , & c . & c . The adoption of
the report , which had been received and ordered to be printed at the previous quarterly court , was moved hy Bro . Binckes , seconded by Bro . Udall , supported by Bros . Natusch , Symonds , and Warriner , and opposed by Bro . Lee Stevens ; and , after a lengthened discussion , the motion for the adoption was carried by a considerable majority , three hands only being held up in opposition . The proceedings terminated with a vote of thanks to the worthy chairman , which was carried by acclamation and suitably acknowledged ,,
