Sydney then informed thei Brethren that at the last meeting a . committee taxi been appointed for the purpose of presenting ^ testimonial to Bro . S ^
session ; and he then , iri the name of him inscribed thereoiv p ^ bearing an appropriate in appropriate terms , Th e Brethren then repaired to banquet , when the u ^ ual loyal and Masonic toasts having been given in a most eloquent manner by the chaarmali , Bro . Maurice Hart , in a very abli and feelingaddress ^ p ^ W . M . in connexion with the Prosperity Lodge of Instruction , which was most
cordially received by the Brethren , and suitably acknowledged . The healths of the visitors and W . Ms . of the Lodges of Prosperity , Israel , and Euphrates , were then drunk in connexion with those Lodges ; also , the health of the honorary Sec , Bro . Maurice Hart , was proposed by Bro . J . M . Isaacs , and most cordially responded to . Several gentlemen having contributed their vocal talent to the harmony of the evening , the Brethren separated at a late hour , evidently well pleased at the agreeable manner in which they had been entertained .
Confidence Lodge ( No . 228 ) . ' —The usual meeting of this Lodge was held on Wednesday , June 3 , at Bro . Wadeson ' s , the Bengal Arms Tavern , Birchin-lane , Gornhill .
