" The piece was Avell received , hut it created no sensation . FolloAving the " Lady ofthe Camelias , " came a legendary extravaganza , entitled " The Lancashire Witches , "
which appears to be a compound of the nursery tales of Saint George and the Dragon and Jack the Giant Killer , Avith a flavouring o . f " Macbeth .
