BoLT 0 lf-JDE-MO 0 BS . —Lodge of Antiquity ( No . 170 ) . —The Brethren of this Lodge assembled at the Que Horse-shoe Inn , Market-place , on the 8 th July , to hold their quarterly meeting . The Lodge was opened in forni , at half-past seven o'clock , by the W . M ., Bro . Jas . Baythorpe , supported by a full staff of Officers , and a numerous attendance of Brethren and visitors , amongst whom we were glad to see from the St . John ' s Lodge , No . 268 , the W . M ., Bro . John Mitchell ; Bros . Hughes , S . W . ; Gi-eo . P . Brockbarik , Sec : Bowden , J . D . : also , from St . John ' s Lodge ,
No . 436 , the W . M . Bro . John Bromley , and Bro . Beswick . Bro . J . Aspinwall , from the Anchor and Hope Lodge , No . 44 , presided at the organ most efficiently . There being little business to transact , Bro . Beuben Mitchell , P . M . of the Lodge , and Prov . G . S . B . for Bast Lancashire , worked the illustrations in the 1 st Degree . Three gentlemen were proposed as candidates for initiation . The business being disposed of , the Lodge was closed in form ; after which the Brethren partook of
