The unfavourable state of the weather prevented the attendance of largo numbers of brethren from abroad , who ivere expected , and for whom accommodation had been made and ample arranginents completed . of St . John's Lodge , and of masonry in this State . Agreeably to arranginents , the brethren assembled at Masonic Hall , 130 Main-street , and at 10 o ' clock a procession was formed . Precisely at half-past ten the procession commenced to move ii |) Main-street , and extended from the Hall to the State House . It made a fine and imposing appearance , and attracted marked attention . Giving to the disagreeableness of the Aveatherraining quite hard—the procession moved directly into Asylum
