M ., late of Lodge of Perpetual Friendship ( No . 157 ) , Bridgwater , was balloted for and unanimously elected a joining member . Mr . AVashington Lafayette Winterbotham , was initiated into the first degree of Freemasonry . Bro . Rake , Peddle , and Davidge having been examined and found duly qualified , were passed to the degree of F . C , and Bros . AVilson , Cook , and Andrews , were raised to tli 3 sublime degree
of M . M . Three brothers were proposed as joining members , and two gentlemen for initiation ; several letters of lodge business were disposed of . commodous rooms , and also to thank those brethren employed in the various departments of the work for the satisfactory manner in which they had carried out their respective undertakings .
