the health of the Worshipful Master remarked that he saw no reason why the wives , daughters , and lady friends of Freemasons should not share iu the benefits to be derived from Freemasonry . He hailed with delight the innovation , and hoped it would be but the forerunner of a general custom . The Worshipful Master also expressed his delight at the new departure , and said that if the
ladies understood Freemasonry more thoroughly they would have for it a better appreciation , for they would discover that there was in ib nothing to whioh they could take the slightest exception .
