THE summer Festival of the Ancient and Accepted Rite , under the sanction of the Supreme Council of Sovereign Grand Inspectors for England and Wales , and the Dependencies of the British Crown , took place at Freemasons' Hall
, London , on Wednesday , the 9 th of June , 1852 . The Convocation Avas opened by the 111 . Grand Treasurer of the Order , AVIIO , in taking the chair , expressed his great regret that the Sov . Commander of the Order was absent , having been
obliged to leave London on account of the illness of a near relative . The Convocation Avas attended by some of the most distinguished Freemasons in the Order , — amongst Avhom Avere the 111 . Sov .
