James Jardine , brother to the preceding . In consequence , the annual festival of the Lodge has been dispensed with .

The vessels in the Harbour were gaily attired with a fine display of flags : most of the shops on the High Street , and the various manufactories and other works , were closed for several hours after mid-day . At one o ' clock , the procession moved off in
excellent order , including Teachers and Scholars , Musical Bands , AVorkmen at the Dock , Society of Carpenters , Seamen ' s Society , Ship Brotherly Society , Militia Staff , Magistrates , Harbour Trustees , Guildry .
