The Provincial Grand Conclave of Knights Templar of Suffolk and Cambridge will be held at Cambridge , on Thursday ,
May 25 tb . The Consecration of the University Chapter of Hose Croix Avill take place at Cambridge on the 26 th instant . The Supreme Grand Council will meet for the dispatch of business on Wednesday , the lOfch instant . We are authorised to state that there will he no meeting ot the 31 ? or 32 ° on this
occasion . On Thursday , the 11 th instant , there AA ill be a Meeting of the Grand Chapter , K . H ., at the Ereemasons' TaA-ern ; after Avhich a Grand Chapter Hose Croix will he held . THE SI . CLEMENTS LODGE was consecrated on Thursday evening last by Bro . John Hervey , Grand Secretary , as consecrating officer , assisted by Bro . the Rev . R . J . Simpson , Past

The Whittington Lodge of Instruction , So . SG 2 , meets every Thursday Evening , at 8 o'clock , at Bro . Blum's , "Crown Hotel , " 41 , High Holborn ; Bro . Alexander , P . M . 188 , Preceptor ; W . Long , P . M ., 4-35 , Hon . Sec . UNITED STKENGTH LODGE OP INSTRUCTION ( NO . 228 ) . — This , one of the oldest Lodges of Instruction in existence , meets
every Wednesday , at the Bull and Gate , Kentish Town Road under the guidance of Bro . J . W . Frost , one of the ablest preceptors of the present day . The fifteen Sections will be worked on Wednesday next-, the 2 Gth inst ., when , no doubt , a large number of brethren will be present , as from the many wellknown P . M ' s . who have promised to assist , a great treat may he
expected . Bro . Frost will take the chair at 7 o ' clock . The Royal Arch Chapter of Improvement , So . 14 a , meets at Ereemasons' Hall , every Thursday at 7 , from October to May inclnsivp .
The Hervey Lodge of Instruction has been removed from the Britannia to the Swan , Walhara Green . The lodge will also shortly remove to the same Hotel iu consequence of the Iron School Room , ( in which the lodge has hitherto been held ) being removed .

Ou Tuesday last the annual examination of tho children educated in this institution , as well as the visit of the Board of Stewards for the festival at which His Royal Uighnees the Prince cf AVales will preside , took place at tho Institution , St . John's Hill , Battersea Kisc , aud was very numerously attended , a largo proportion of the company being ladies , who appeared to take a very deep interest in the proceedings . There are 100 children in the school , all supported , educated , aud clothed hy the bounty

of the Craft . The children ai-d eligible to enter the school at seven years of age , and remain until they are sixteen . The first business of the day was an exemplification ot the children's abilities in various branches of education . Bro . Joseph Nunn P . G . S . B ., and Chairman of the Board of Stewards , proceeded to deliver the prizes gained as follows : —Charlotte S . Atkinson , the gold medal for general proficiency and three guineas given
annually by Bro . W . AVinne ; Edna Jane Johnson , the silver medal for good-conduct . The chairman said that this prize was not only given for good-conduct , but was obtained hy the unanimous votes of her schoolfellows . Ada E . Triggs , and Emily Redgrave , for passing the senior Cambridge examination ; Charlotte S . Atkinson , Mary A . J . Stevens , Elizabeth
