consequence of the loss of the charter and of the want of a second and a third Principal . This committee elected two companions to fill the chairs of H . and J ., and resolved to petition for a warrant of confirmation , and to send the petition to the Grand Superintendant . with a request that he would forward it with his recommendation that tho prayer should be granted by the Supreme Grand Chapter . " The Grand Superintendant refuses to support the petition with his recommendation , and your committee entirely concur with him in the view he has taken of the matter .
" The loss of the charter and the want of qualified companions to act as Principals practically prevents the working of the Morning Star Chapter , and from the irregular proceedings and the un-Masonic and outrageous behaviour of some of the companions , your committee are of opinion that there is no course open to the Supreme Grand Chapter but to suppress tho chapter entirely . And seeing that there is another chapter ( the Royal Burmah Chapter , No . 832 ) under the English Constitution working at Rangoon , this step would not inflict any punishment on those companions of the Morning Star Chapter , No . 614 , against whom there is no imputation . "
