GIBRALTAR . CALPE E . vc . uirJliixr . —A meeting of this Encampment , recently constituted by warrant from the M . E . and S . G . AI . of Knights Templar in England and AVales , Col . Charles Kcmeys Kenieys Tynte , was held on Friday , 6 th May , when the E . G ., Capt C . AI . Layton , assisted by Sir Knights AV . If . Drake , C . B ., ( Dep . Com .-Gen . ) 1 st Capt . ; and J . S . AVilliams , M . D ., with a full muster of Knights , installed two Royal Arch Masons , from Chapters meeting in Gibraltar , as Knights Companions of this order .

GENERAL GBAND BODIES . —The general Grand Royal Arch Chapter and the Grand Encampment of the United States , meet this year ( 1859 ) at Chicago , Illinois , on the second Tuesday in September , ivhich is the Sth day of the said month . NEW GRAND LODGE . — 'Na learn from the Masonic Reekie , that a convention of four Lodges was held at Olympia , AVashington Territory , on the 6 th , 7 th , and Sth of Marchand organized a Grand Lodfor that territory . , ge was elected Grand Alaster , and Bro . T . M . Reed , Grand Secretary . KEXTUOKT . —There are in Kentucky upwards of 370 Lodges , with a membership of 10 , 319 . The number of initiations in 1857-S was 1223 ; . deaths 29 S ; expulsions 53 ; suspensions 216 ; paid to Grand Lodge # 10 , 017 ,-89 . Among the members reported are ' 2 'JS ministers of the gospel .

KANSAS , —This young sister jurisdiction now has nine subordinate Lodges , with over 300 members . In 1857-S there were 38 affiliations ; 91 initiations ; 28 rejections ; 21 demissions ; 13 suspensions ; and 3 deaths . Dues to Grand Lodge # 11 , 000 . Tiri'EO . vjiOE . —The ' Grand Lodges of Indiana and Kentucky arc contemplating the erection of a suitable monument to those Allisons who fell ' on the bloody held of Tippecanoe . Kentucky has appropriated $ 1 , 500 for that purpose .
