The foregoing petitions being in all respects regular , the Committee recommend that the pra 3 * ers thereof be respectively granted . The Committee have also received the following petition praying for a charter of confirmation , the original being lost or destroyed by fire in 1882 : — From the Principals and members of the Sussex Chapter , No . 354 , Kingston , Jamaica .
The Committee recommend that a charter of confirmation for the abovenamed chapter be granted . The Committee have likewise to report that they have received a memo - rial from the companions of the Royal Gloucester Chapter , No . 130 ,
Southampton , praying for a charter authorising them to wear a centenary jewel , in accordance with the resolution passed by the Supreme Grand Chapter on the 1 st February , 18 S 2 . This memorial being in form , and the chapter having proved an uninterrupted existence of 100 years , the Committee recommend that the prayer thereof be granted .
The Committee recommend that the meetings of Grand Chapter in future take place in the Great Hall instead of in the Zetland Room , commencing at the November Convocation , and that the Committee be authorised to complete the paraphernalia and appointments which are at present defective . The minutes of the Provincial Grand Lodge were read and confirmed , and after other business had been transacted , the brethren met together under the presidency of the Prov . Grand Master at a sumptuous banquet , at the Town Hall .
Bro . Dr . Parry efficiently enlivened the proceedings with pianoforte selections , and sang " The Village Blacksmith . " A recitation was given by Bra . E . Fletcher , and songs were sung by Bros . S . G . Homfray , J . Lewis , and S . T . Evans .

The Moveable Grand Mark Lodge At Liverpool.
THE MOVEABLE GRAND MARK LODGE AT LIVERPOOL .
Though the Mark Grand Lodge follows closely on the lines laid down by that of Craft Masonry , there are yet one or two points of ' divergence in the arrangements of the two bodies , the most noticeable being that of holding a Moveable Grand Mark Lodge both in summer and winter in some
pre-arranged place in the provinces . Our Craft Grand Lodge holds its stated Quarterly Communications at Freemasons' Hall ; Mark Grand Lodge has a head-quarters of its own , but not a hall large enough for the purpose of holding its stated Half-yearly Communications , and during the

The annual meeting of the Provincial Grand Chapter of Dorset was held at the Masonic Hall , Weymouth , on Tuesday , the 21 st ult . The chapter was opened by M . E . Comp . W . Though the Mark Grand Lodge follows closely on the lines laid down by that of Craft Masonry , there are yet one or two points of ' divergence in the arrangements of the two bodies , the most noticeable being that of holding a Moveable Grand Mark Lodge both in summer and winter in some
