Row , W . M . of the Lodge of Cuthberga , No . 905 , was regularly exalted by Comps . Sydenham , M . E . Z . ; Gr . H . Gutch , H . ; J . Osment , J ., and other Officers and Companions ,

Dudley . — Richard De Vernon Encampment . — -The Sir Knights of this encampment assembled on Wednesday , February 3 rd . Four companions were installed by the E . C . Sir Knight James . TheE . C . informed the Sir Knights that the next business would be to elect their commander for the ensuing year . On the proposition of Sir Knight Lewis , seconded by Sir Knight Aston , the ballot was declared unanimous that Sir Knight Maseneld be Eminent Commander for the ensuing year . The installation will take place in June , when the E . C . will appoint his officers .
Newcastle-on-Tyne . — Royal Kent Encampment—This Encampment was holden on Saturday , March 13 , being duly opened by the E . C . John Barker , assisted by Sir Knights Wm . Punsheon , P . E . C . as Prior ; Wm . [ Dalziel , P . E . C ., as Sub-Prior ; Hy . -Bell , as First Captain ; Hy . Hotham , Second Captain ; George Weatherhead , Expert ; Andrew Gillespie , Acting Reg . ; Richard Medcalf , as Almoner . The ballot having been taken for Comp . C . O . MAllum , he , with Comp . John T . Hoyle , were respectively installed as Knights Templars . The
Sir Knights then proceeded to elect the E . C . for the ensuing year , when the unanimous . suffrages of the Sir Knights fell on their respected First ^ Cap tain , whose well-known Masonic zeal in all the other high Masonic offices filled by him , gives an earnest that the Royal Kent will not be less nourishing under his rule . The E . C . duly declared Sir Knight Henry Bell E . C . elect for the ensuing year . Sir Knights Town and Potter were respectively elected Treasurer and Equerry Without for the ensuing year ; and the Encampment was then duly closed .

M . since they obtained a warrant from the Supreme Council of the 33 rd Degree . The Chapter was opened by the M . W . So v . John Barker , K . II . 30 th Degree , assisted by the P . rVLW . Sovs . William Punsheon , the father of the High Grades in the North of England ; William Dalziel , also a high Mason and great coadjutor to Bro . Pun ^ sheon ; also P . M . W . Sovs . J . P . Ionn , Thos . Robinson , Wm . Berkley ( who
