The London and Middlesex Archaeological Society held a general meeting on Wednesday evening , February 10 th , at the rooms of the Society of British Artists , in Suffolk-street . The meeting was presided over by Mr . ex-Sheriff Keats , the worthy president ( Lord Londcsborough ) being unable to attend . The Hon . Secretary read the minutes of the last general meeting , which were unanimously confirmed . Tile election of new members being completed , the Chairman called upon the Llev . Mr . Hugo to read a paper upon the Tower of London , the greater part of which
